🌟 Proud moment for our lab! 🌟
Ahmadou Wagne, a PhD student at our lab, recently presented a poster at Hashtag#RecSys2024 on “What to compare? Towards understanding user sessions on price comparison platforms,” co-authored with Julia Neidhardt (TU Wien). The research sheds light on the diverse behaviors of users on price comparison platforms, identifying six distinct session clusters, from “quick peek” to “heavy browsing.” These insights aim to improve the integration of conversational recommender systems (CRS) by ensuring a better understanding of user needs.
Additionally, Ahmadou gave a presentation at the KaRS workshop titled “Can We Integrate Items Into Models? Knowledge Editing To Align LLMs With Product Catalogs.” This exploration highlights the potential of knowledge editing in large language models to enhance the accuracy and alignment of product information.
Kudos to Ahmadou for these contributions to the field of recommender systems! 🎉👏
